Lettuce Pray! By Popular Demand: Prayer Call
I’ve not appealed to God as much as I have since becoming a Wife and a Stepmom. These roles are ones that will test your endurance and exhaust your faith. Aside from sustaining my physical and mental viability, I PRAY, but probably not as much as I should. There have been times when I just didn’t think God heard me or I felt ashamed because my prayers seemed so trivial. If you can identify, then you should join me on a *Prayer Call on Thursday, August 9th. This will be the 1st time I’ve hosted something like this so I reached out to an outspoken woman in the B&B community, Reverend Martha Shabazz. She is REAL, she has a beautiful sense of humor and she is a woman of God. Reverend Martha is a domestic violence survivor and mom of 12 (bio,step and adopted). She will be teaching us (me included) how to spiritually cover our Husband’s and children as only women can. She will also give us specific prayers to calm our minds in the midst of conflict and chaos.
